which I believe is the reason all these tourists and expats are there right now in such numbers. Some of these come from readers who wanted to pose with my book, and I don't know them myself, but others I take myself with strangers posing. And I want to talk for a moment about the difficulties in approaching people to take such photos.

It's very hard sometimes, it's easier to approach actually girls to ask this. They're usually with a friend and I can ask both to pose together, but after a couple of such photos I can't really post anymore, it gets repetitive for you, so I try to get handsome Thursday physique specimens with my book posing, and this is far more difficult. And this is caused by increasingly intense competition for women. is not a healthy point for society. Menequinon four calls Africanization. You all know the HBD theories about this human biodiversity theories that Africa is a place where food production is in the hands of women. They don't really have to depend much on the men for agriculture, which by the way, the Bantu are an agricultural people. The West Africans are a farmer, and agricultural people, and have always been,

don't believe the propaganda about there being some kind of hunter-gatherer or warrior people or such. They're farmers. And they were always subdued to livestock condition by the Nilotic or East African types, like the Tutsi and others, who are pastoralists. Now, the Bantu have the typical dysfunctions of peasants. And the fact that they do some rather incompetent agriculture, that the tuber patches and such grown by African women are messier than what you'd find in Europe or parts of Asia is irrelevant, means nothing. The point is the agriculture was in the hands of women, all food production, and the diet and cuisine being heavily starch laden, and therefore very bland. Much of the African cuisine is literally slop, some kind of starch heavily pounded into a mass,

Maybe with peanuts, peanut paste, served in some peanut broth or such. I think it's called fufu. But it's just slop. And the men would go hunting to supplement this very boring diet. They would hunt bush meat. And thereby, I assume they would spread certain diseases. But that was only an occasional pastime on the side. Food was in the hands of the women. And therefore, the theory goes. By the way, I'm not entirely convinced this theory is true, but the theory goes that the women, therefore, had much more flexibility in choosing men who they didn't really need to help raise children, as opposed to, say, the far north, where in hunting megafauna, food production would have been almost entirely in the hands of the men. So again, this theory goes that in that environment

in sub-Saharan Africa, the men had compete for women in some other ways which led to this people's love of extroversion their garishness if you know Africans they love jewels bright clothes and such there a cheerful people generally this doesn't come out in all the sob stories you hear about Africa now but that's the theory anyway one moment a friend from Maputo is calling me with problem on phone one moment be I'll be right back. That is a beginning of the HBD theory about sub-Saharan family values and sexual selection, although I doubt it myself, or at least you shouldn't take too many inappropriate conclusions from this, as I don't think, for example, the West African men are especially aesthetic, and historically they weren't really considered such by other peoples.

If you look even within Africa at tribes that were quite different, at the Nuba for example, who Leni Riefenstahl got so much pain for photographing, that Maroon, Susan Sontag, claimed secretly had some kind of fascist aesthetic in Leni Riefenstahl's photojournalism about the Nuba. You know, to these people, anything that shows health or strength, they say is fascist. So I suppose it's the same if Michelangelo's Moses is a fascist statue by this reasoning. Who knows? But that's actually exactly where that kind of reasoning goes, which explains much of the turn the so-called modern left has taken. It's by now the celebration of deformity. But Riefenstahl photographed this much more primitive tribe, the Nuba, who are not West

African, but Nilotic, they're not Bantu and they're not farmers, and who much more have a cult of the body and of self-beautification, where the people in general seem to have selected for personal beauty over many generations, much more than the West Africans. And of course, the highest degree of beauty selection, even for men, you don't find in Africa but in North Europe, which the ancient Greeks and the Romans, for example, also recognized. referring repeatedly to how handsome they were and such. Even as late as the Crusades, Anna Komnena, the Byzantine princess who wrote the Alexiad, she says this of the Crusaders. She calls them the Western barbarians, still a very classical style. She was impressed in part by their cunning or intelligence or bravery,

but in the other part by their handsomeness. By the way, you notice what is missing? she was not impressed by their so-called altruism. That's another HBD theory I will deal sometime in the future, where they claim that North Europeans are somehow especially susceptible to pathological altruism, except when you look in history, their neighbors never really thought they were altruistic. They thought they were cunning and violent, and also, by the way, intelligent. That has persisted since antiquity, despite being barbarians. They were considered quite smart, even in antiquity. And this was recognized the beauty of the North Europeans, I mean now, across a wide range of other cultures, and to some extent can be said also of some American Indian tribes and of some Polynesians.

So it seems to me that warrior cultures have much more a tendency towards male self-beautification or looks maxing than the HBD people would claim. And the Spartans, of course, were the most famous for this. The most famous scene you might have heard before Thermopylae where they all combing their hair, which they kept very long for this reason, self-beautification. And the repeated references you see in Homer to the looks of heroes, referring to some or others as the most handsome, with Achilles often having this quality to himself. So all of this doesn't really fit the HBD theories about what kind of culture you'd expect to encourage men to looksmax. But I still find them, and Steve Saylor's theory, quite interesting and persuasive. And in any case, both could be true.

While there may be other reasons for looksmaxing, it is definitely true that in a sub-Saharan sexual competition environment, where children are not a high investment for the men, and where the women do not depend on the men for food. The men will try to compete in some way like this for women. Maybe this doesn't translate. It looks, biologically, but might explain. Maybe Sailor would say that people's love of dance or musicality or their extroversion, as opposed to, say, Spartan introversion and Nordic autism. But the point HBD people make and that Menaquinon IV made is that this same process started to happen in America at least since 2010 and probably a little before, where millennial men started to look smacks. So that let's say 2007, you could go to American gym

or on street and you would rarely see any handsome Thursday physiques. Whereas now it is extremely frequent in America and Europe too. And the reasoning behind this HBD theory They started to do it for the same reasons as Sub-Saharan Africa, the same reasons that game was developed. Why was game developed? Because let's say sub-continental computer programmers in Toronto would go to a bar, they would hit on girls, and they would find out the roasties didn't give a fuck. I'm sorry, I shouldn't use such words. The roasties did not like, didn't care about their salary or their job. You couldn't turn that into an advantage with women so much anymore. Well, many of you disagree with many tenets of this game theory, and I do too. But I will always have a soft spot for artiste.

And while in the men you see many of the unhealthy bodies you used to see in the West, and actually you still do of course, but I don't want to overstate it because most people are fat fucks in general in the West, too. You also see much fewer gyms in Rio than before, and consolidation of these gyms into a few large and quite expensive chains. So it's very unusual what has happened, and I still have to think through why, because in principle a change to this situation that is favorable to men, where women are all very good looking and the men don't have to try so hard to look smacks, where you have often a fat guy with a nine out of ten girls, like

you do all the time in Ukraine or Russia, where you see very beautiful girls with very plain or fat men. You see this in Brazil now, and I don't understand how you get there from what existed ten years before. It must be investigated. And I'm asking, in this show show I make appeal, I'm asking MacArthur and Ford Foundation for a $1 million grant to study this problem of immediate civilizational import. The picture I painted in previous segment is not as optimistic as it sounds, which should bring some pause to those who believe that women increasing their looks and men losing theirs is good for society or for anything else. It doesn't necessarily increase the leverage of men where it counts. And I'm still trying to figure out what happened in a place like Brazil.

Ten years or so ago, the competition for women as a result of men looks maxing was in one sense very extreme in Brazil. In fact, this is somewhat exaggerated even in America. I think most of the complaints even of incels are over not getting a girlfriend, or the kind of girlfriend that they deserve, and that would be decent. Because even in America, it may be very easy, for example, to pork a chubster. I'm not sure. I am just repeating what I hear. I don't know anymore very well. been out of country for a long time. But in Brazil, even with that intense competition,

it wasn't that hard to get a good-looking girl, because they were pleasure-loving and very willing. And you know, the rape rate has always been very low there, despite the overall crime rate being very high, because it was so easy, always, for everyone. And Now this has changed despite the fact that women are attractive, that there are far more attractive women than there were before, and the men don't seem to need to be attractive to get these women, but it's actually harder to get a girl for anyone. They've become far more standoffish than even before as their looks have increased. And many of you, by the way, don't realize that in Soviet Union, in Russia, the girls are not especially nice either. You know, they're quite demented.

Once you marry one, they will spend most of their time screaming at you, making your life hell, unless you have a pimp hand, which of course you can't really have in America, or they call their armed bodyguards of the Lesboid Ginocracy Police. Meanwhile, I'm not so sure the looks of men, the physiques in Brazil, have declined because of any lessening in competition, but rather because of some rather nasty and bad things. Because the spread of office culture, of white-collar work, has meant there is now much less time to develop perfect physique than before. Just one of the things. I've heard, I'm still not sure, but some days you can walk around these nice neighborhoods and you see old people, children, you see girls in their late teens and 20s, again some

very attractive, but all the men, let's say from 18 to 35, are completely missing. It's like there's been a war. Very strange to see, and I think there's working downtown, they work hard all day. But the women mostly do not, or they have easy jobs, or they skip work, or something that blackmailing the boss, I don't know. Because you see them in pairs or groups, and I think the men there are being turned into wage slaves for the women, the empowered women. And then there was also a huge financial crisis recently that hasn't yet ended. And I wonder how this has affected what I've observed as well, either through decreasing the means of developing one's own body, or as the Steve Saylor HBD contingent would have

I also think HeartEast overstates the need for game, as opposed to looks maxing, and you can see that millennial men, as I've already talked and shown, their craze for looks maxing, have ended up agreeing with me out of experience, not because I told them. Which is to say, if you lift, this has more immediate benefit in your attempts to get women than just improving your game personality approach. Not that this is not important. You can't act gay, for example. You can't act autistic. Well, actually, some women like that, but generally you can't.

And he has four great essays on the problem of modern women you can find on the internet.

And I know many of you read these essays long ago, but you still married and had children, which should calm down some of the critics of this way of thinking. Actually, Devlin himself, F. Roger Devlin, seems entirely to copy Schopenhauer in many insights. And if you want the origin of evolutionary psychology, you can look to Schopenhauer essays, like the metaphysics of sexual love or his essay on the hereditary nature of the qualities. Whatever errors he might have made, Darwin himself says I think that he would have been impossible without Schopenhauer, who I think has a far deeper view of nature and of life than Darwin does. eggs, old spinsters who don't see the nature of women and never criticize them. And leadership or ownership of the family is the incentive that traditional societies gave men to accept these burdens, as well as certainty of paternity. That is something else that was given as incentive. As well as a young wife who would be a virgin at marriage and would remain young after marriage for quite a few years, right? What is the point of marrying a woman after 35 whose looks disappear within a year or two? Otherwise, really, what is the point of any of this from point of view of a man?

As Devlin says, bachelorhood was forbidden in early Rome. Getting married isn't something great for a man, in other words, it's a burden. It can only work if there are incentives of some kind. But the modern moralists have nothing like this they can offer. Perhaps they can also make it illegal in a few years to be single and force one of you to get married to one of these roasties who is alone, one of these fem cells. talk about incels, but what about female incels, the fem cells, the 40-year-old women who complain there's nobody to sex their dry pussy. They offer only duty for the sake of duty, these social conservatives. They can't promise even heaven in return for subjection to a Harridon and her whims.

So you just get financial servitude in exchange for a fat fuck like Jonah Goldberg calling you a civilized man. So special, yes? So they are good canteens in that way. Duty for the sake of duty, but therefore completely delusional. This is just another way that traditional conservatism, mainstream conservatism, has failed men, and has failed the youth in general of whatever race, by the way. The left and the feminists assault us, and in the middle of this assault, the conservatives have nothing to offer. They abandon you. Then they try to pretend it's only about race, it's only about, oh, it's white youth who are upset. No, it's everyone who is upset with this horrible state of things. And they blame you for those same problems as they're completely weak in front of the

left because, you have to face it, Charles Murray and all these others are terrified of the left. They'll never point out women's responsibility for what has happened. They don't have the ability, whether mental or spiritual, to address these problems. It's all like the social conservatives who get very flustered at Trump's potty mouth, at his uncouth language, and want to huff and puff about vulgarity. But they never address the problem of, let's say, women's extreme vulgarity and their materialism in this society. They would never dare to touch that. Although the criticism of vulgarity in the great philosophers of the past, in the great political thinkers, it wasn't to buttress their own class self-identification to show that they are snobs.

They attacked vulgarity because they wanted to deal with this problem in particular, of female vulgarity and the tendency to corrupt society in a certain direction. Look at what Aristotle says about women in Sparta, for example. In this condition of sexual anarchy, or rather the return of the dark night of sexual matriarchy, people like Heartiste or others seem to provide some guidance, going back to explain the nature of women for those who grew up without this knowledge.
