I wrote before it happened, hoping to make the case as best I could, as if anyone in power of decision reads me, but I tried to make common sense case why this attack on Iran was not a good idea, and I still think it was a bad idea, even if it turned out well or didn't turn out badly. That said, I've had overload of moralistic, histrionic bad arguments over the last week

or two about this conflict. I'm convinced in general that people bringing up bad arguments for a good cause or a cause you agree with, it hurts the cause. So no, you can be against involvement in the Middle East and in the donkey punch country of Iran, and I'm for disengagement in general from that loser area, I've tried to give reasons why. I think Nietzsche in the Antichrist actually, although it's excised from the Walter Kaufmann edition, has some good moderate advice for that whole region. He says, desolate it, make it populated by snakes, let it live in infamy forever. Why involve yourself there? But the things I was hearing on this during the bombing itself are incredibly stupid. And where is the war, by the way, that people were warning about?
